Does "difficulty" make Nintendo games great?

I think its the amount of polish that goes into Nintendo games that make them great! Nintendo games have zero bugs majority of the time and have one of the best art directions ever with controls being spot on. You expect a certain amount of quality when you buy a Nintendo game and they deliver majority of the time which is why people continue to buy their games. Sure, difficulty factors in but I wouldn't say its the key thing that makes their games great
