If a gaming company goes out of their way to make sure I get the game first and don't have to wait while someone else does have it, then they have my respect. |
Here:
Does that make it acceptable?
Aren't you a gamer and a consumer? Shouldn't you worry more about your best intrest? You talk about timed exclusivity for indies that were already avalible on pc as compensation for the truly exclusive ips you should be getting? 1st class treatment? Are you delusional? You've been paying for stuff that all the other people who don't game on Xbox get for free since 2013? With an Optional Premium service out valuing a premium one? You talk about PS3 getting scraps, it is still getting exclusive ips that also aren't avalible on PC, while Xbox makes you pay 60 dollars a year for advertising on a last gen console.
The sad thing is, you actually believe MS has treated you well. All this talk about innovation when its people like you who are holding the industry back. MS has the resources to out do both Sony and Nintendo, but you will say they shouldn't treat you (the customer) with respect because that would affect their short term profit rather than investing in their consumers and you value MS's buisness more than your own self-worth.
The OG Xbox, that was a investment. You sycophants can complain that Xbox was bleeding money, but they were doing it because they had a vision and that vision involved treating their customers with respect. When they released the 360, I already knew it was a scam, and when they announced the XB1 I knew it was a scam as well.

and here:
This is so fucking hilarious, whenever someone exposes Microsoft's shit the fans will try to downplay it by saying it either doesn't matter or Sony or Nintendo does it to, or its what a business would do.
Leave your personal experiences at the door, I don't want to hear your whining and we're only talking about verifiable facts here.
Xbox screws over their customers, so does Nintendo, PS, Google, and Amazon. But the difference is at least those other companies make up for it, because they value the consumer and treat them with respect because of that value. At the very least, they respect their money, Microsoft Xbox can pretty much get away with anything because their consumers either don't know better or don't care.
Now look at the end of the day, games are what matter and if you like xbox because of their games, then I have no issue with you. What I do have an issue with is defending their Bullshit policies and practices. We've got threads about people complaining about GZ's length from people who have been defending Xbox's anticonsumer policies for years.
And I don't give a damn how good anyone's games are, the consumer's matter most, the gaming community matters most.
Where is Family Sharing on MS, steam has it, where is MS Now, I remember when MS "apologized" for DRM i think it was a written letter by their scapegoat Don Mattrick. They crucified him for doing his job, nobody in the team was like "HMMMM, maybe developing are console around a casual peripheral is a bad idea".
Nobody at E3 was like "HMMMM maybe they don't like DRM"
MS Fans LOVE to bring up last gen because they can't deal with the reality of this one, Sony fcked up in when they released the PS3, but at least the realized and turned it around. Now you've got Shu Yoshida responding to tweets and making youtube videos in response to MS's PR and MS is just letting it happen.
If you think MS is gonna make any kind of comeback with these policies, you're dreaming. They only way XB1 will even get close to PS4 is for Xbox to behave better than they did with the OG Xbox, and they are already off to a horrible start.
Fans like you have been ruining gaming since 2006.
Funny how you respect them for throwing their money around, when they don't respect you.
