I haven't modded my Wii, but I've seriously considered it for imports. I was actually planning to do it pretty soon, but then the Wii Freeloader was announced, so I'm going to grab one of those and see how it works out. If Nintendo ends up blocking the new Freeloader I'll get a modchip then.
