Anyway to prove that February is always higher than January? Just curious because I always thought it was the other way around.

The last 4 - 5 years of NPD?

VGchartz seems to disagree. Combined PS3, 360, Wii, DS, PSP, Wii U, 3DS, Vita, XBONE, and PS4, Feb has never been bigger than January. I'm with Rol on this.

Doesn't matter too much since sales are sales, but they "feel" like adjustments.

Well you're wrong, so is VGChartz.

2008:

Month # Month Xbox 360 PS3 Wii
Jan-08 15 230,000 269,000 274,000
Feb-08 16 255,000 281,000 425,000

2009:

Month # Month Xbox 360 PS3 Wii
Jan-09 27 309,000 203,000 679,000
Feb-09 28 391,000 276,000 753,000

2010:

Month # Month Xbox 360 PS3 Wii
Jan-10 39 333,000 277,000 465,000
Feb-10 40 422,000 360,000 398,000

2011:

Month # Month Xbox 360 PS3 Wii
Jan-11 51 381,000 267,000 320,000
Feb-11 52 535,000 405,000 454,000

2012:

Month # Month Xbox 360 PS3 Wii
Jan-12 63 270,000 195,000 152,000
Feb-12 64 426,000 347,000 224,000

2013:

Month # Month Xbox 360 PS3 Wii
Jan-13 75 281,000 200,000 100,000
Feb-13 76 302,000 262,000 99,000

All but two occasions, both for Wii. One was supply constraints, the other was the Wii flat last year/dying.

Yes I realized I was using WW numbers, not US.

2007, 2009, 2011, and 2012 increased in US.

It increased every year. I just gave you the figures.

And I just gave you the vgchartz ones. For old data like this, don't most people believe they are very good?
