What happens when/if Nintendo's next console fails?

A large corporation flush with cash attempts to buy them. Contenders are:

Apple
Microsoft
Yahoo
Facebook
Samsung

Could either be a disaster or the best thing ever. My vote would be for Samsung. They would make an impressive piece of hardware and get Nintendo's other business operations in line. They'd probably tighten up ship dates for products too. Better, new management lifts the brand out of obscurity.
