It's open world game, with lots of particles and effects etc and lots of enemies... of course it would be difficult to reach 1080p and 60 FPS... not sure why thats difficult to comprehend from a technical perspective. Everyone already knows that all three didnt go with the out and out power that some wanted. For its price I am happy.
The online video the other night of infamous showed that this is by far the best looking game of the new generation.. throw into the mix that its open world and not some linear game, or a game where only 3-6 characters appear on screen at once, I think people can be pleased with the result..it's running at 1080p...
In terms of memo's... Sony I think are aiming for 1080p (even if its causes a a FPS hit), while MS are running scared of anything that mentions 1080p. It's apples and oranges.... so i think he did get the memo, cause the game is in 1080p ;)
