Probably because they're generally more cost efficient.

Not any more. The only reason to buy AMD right now is that is that you like them.

Maybe not for their higher end stuff, but their mid range CPU's definitely give you more bang for your buck, unless something drastic has changed in the last few months

 

 

Nonthing has changed and thats why AMD is the better choice.
