Hello and Welcome to Part 1 of my Top 20 Most Realistic Newcomers for SSB WiiU/3DS! This thread will be my opinion on what characters have the best chance to make it in the game (not to be confused with my top wanted).
For this thread i will list the bottom 5 (16th-20th) of my top 20. I will proceed with another thread to continue through the ranks. By all means this is opinionated so if you agree/disagree with anything i say pls post your reasons and predictions!
Now before we get started i want to point out 2 things.
1. Before E3 i made a top 10 list of newcomers. Little Mac was #2, Rosalina was #8, Megaman was Honorable Mention. The other 2 were a great surprise (especially Wii Fit Trainer)
2. Since i made a top 20 i will point out on who missed out here as honorable mentions

★ TOP 16th - 20th Characters ★
Yes, Yes We start the countdown with no other than Bowser Jr! For those wondering why Boswer Jr is sooo low on this list, its very simple. We already have So many Mario Representatives! Dont get me wrong, this character makes total sense being playable in SSB. But with the announcement of Rosalina in the next installment, the count is 5 for the franchise.
If Bowser Jr would make it i can see him being about the same speed as Bowser (yeah slow i know) but with his own arsenal. You know the Paint Brush from his debut game (SMS), as well as him shoot fireballs from his mouth unlike his father (which uses a fire breath instead!).
Well if he did join i wouldn't be against it but others will probably cuz mario would have had 6 characters in the game o.O

Coming at the number 19 spot is the demon queen herself Medusa, not only is the character female... but also she is a main villain! Yes 2 in one! For those of you who haven't gotten the pleasure of being introduced to this evil being, she is from the franchise Kid Icarus. And in the original game she was the main antagonist.
She does also appear in the latest game (Kid Icarus Uprising) as the first main antagonist intill you defeat her. KI franchise only has one representative which is the main protagonist himself Pit which only appeared intill SSBB. I think its very safe to say there will be at least 2 in the next installment, especially considering the fact Sakarai himself is the one who developed the latest KI games. She is only low on this list cuz somebody else imo has the much better chance of making it in (99% of you should know 
)

This Character..... Oh Man, this character would easily be in my top 10 most wanted list, but this list represents top most realistic predictions so its obvious why he is so low. Bandana Dee has made a couple appearance as of late. He is 1 of the 4 playable characters for Kirby's Return to Dreamland on Wii (3 of which is playable in SSBB) and he appears in Kirby Triple Deluxe as a support character. Did i mention not even Metaknight made an appearance in the game :0
The problem with Bandana Dee is that if Metaknight returns to SSB (which i really believe) then Kirby franchise sits at 3 characters. Now Kirby is a big franchise but i think 3 is enough, but if Sakarai wanted a 4th character for the franchise in the game, i have no doubt Bandana Dee would make the Cut! ..... Did I mention he uses a spear and can hover with it? :)

The number 17 spot goes to the one, the only Magnus! Many will say "Who the **** is that"? Thats cuz he is introduced in Kid Icarus Uprising so he is relatively new. The reason i had chose this character (especially a little higher than Medusa) is because this character is a playable character in the story line of a KI game. He plays an important role in 2 chapters including an additional chapter (dont want to spoil).
He weilds a big sword which can be accessed by Pit as his own Weapon (Club class). Its short range by hell-a powerful! Like I previously stated for Medusa Sakarai is the creator of KIU but with that said, there is still one character that just makes ore sense than Medusa and Magnus..... When Will ____ Appear on the list? :P

Next up on the Top 20 countdown is Ghiraham. He is the main antagonist of LoZ Skyward Sword. Out of all zelda villain characters, he is probably the most involved in terms of interaction/story of all time. Sure you had Zant (Twilight Princess) or Skull Kid (Majora's Mask) seen quite alot but Ghiraham takes the cake in Most involved!
There are already 3 confirmed characters in the next installment, with ganondorf most likely returning and a big possibility of Sheik's return. Thats a total of 5 characters and thats a reason why LoZ might not have another rep (newcomer). But if they did, i see Ghiraham making it in, despite SS being the least popular (saleswise) of the LoZ console titles. He can use his sword with magic attacks used in game. He also is a weapon himself that can be very unique with a style of play. Im sure if he would be given the chance to play in SSB his FS would be himself turning into a sword and summoning the demon Demise!
