1. Ignorance does not absolve blame, especially in IT. That's simply not how it works.
You know what else has been hacked? Practically any thing of value connected to the internet.
2. What else should they have gotten?
The fact that you have to ask proves my point.
3. And I'm just saying they have a long way to go before they hit Sony PS3 lead up levels of arrogance.
Lets compare the PS3 at launch to the XB1:

PS3

  • 600 $
  • blu-ray player
  • backwards compatibility
  • free multiplayer
  • sixaxis controller
  • 3 prong ac cord
XB1
  • 500$
  • mandatory kinect
  • snap feature
  • skype (requires xbl)
  • multiplayer (requires xbl)
  • youtube/netflix (requires xbl)
  • propreitary xbl power brick
  • drm/always on
Where was the DRM and Always on for the PS4? Oh Wow they charged 100$ more than xbox one, dat arrogance. DRM annocement was just a simple mistake, even when we waited till preorders to 180, but that 599 U ES DOLLARS that's just unforgivable. {sarcasm}

4. Or there are just less Xbox fans around the Internet so your theory is selective and flawed. The fans MS was trying to sell all those policies to, sure were vocal enough to make MS change their mind. Seems to completely obliterate your entire argument, idk.
If you think MS changed their policies because of anything other than preorders, you're living in a fantasy.
5. No idea what the point of this one is. Should they have announced the policies via podcast or something? Idk.
Again your missing the point. The fact that they are the only ones that annouced DRM always on for consoles is indicative of the fact that they can get away with almost anything.
6. Kind of like PC gamers? Oh wait that's another atom bomb to logic.

PC gamers are the exact opposite of what I was describing, I don't understand how you could make that connection. Let me spell it out for you. If Xbox had majority marketshare, they could do whatever the hell they want and consumers will just take it smiling. Microsoft hates competition, and if they get on top nobody would stop them. DRM would be the least of our worries.

These people would rather defend Microsoft then their Xbox Brothers in Arms.
