I was purposely vague about RROD vs PSN Hack because the difference is that MS knew about the failure rates before hand and still decided to go ahead, there was not much Sony could do to prevent PSN from being hacked through a security exploit, but they took the network down themselves to fix the problem, and gave people free games for it.
Like I said, continue to defend Microsoft's bullsh1t, its unfortunate that we can't count on them to improve the industry cause they are busy getting away with it.
Investments cost money, but they also give the most returns.
But I'm not even arguing about how bad MS is. I'm talking about how much tolerable their fan base is of what Xbox does. Xbox stopped being the underdog with the 360. Excuses are made for days.
If Sony announced DRM in February, I can guarantee that the internet would be lit up in outrage. MS waited till preorders to flip their drm switches.
Until Xbox sells a console above 100 million, they haven't earned the right to be arrogant, so just because you can draw parallels to Sony (2005), you have to realize the underlying bullsh1t that's been there from the beginning.
