We're talking about US numbers being low this week, so if I can't get one in the US, then yeah that kind of does matter.

I see that, but the point is that if stockpiling was indeed true, why such low numbers for Brawl week? I am just seeing that the US may be hard to find one, but outside the US, it seems to be a completely different story.

We heard stockpiling excuses, diverting shipments, blah blah blah, yet honestly... where are the sales to prove all this BS from the last week?

Not to be an ass or anything, I am just curious and have yet to see a definitive answer besides more BS on the lines of "They are stockpiling for GTA IV"...

Here's the thing though.

If you count this weeks Wii sales as proof that the stock piling excuse does not exists(which I don't say it does or doesn't) then if this week, Wii sales in Others are 150,000 units, or some such number, then won't it prove that demand for the Wii hasn't been met in europe?

I don't think either number proves anything, honestly. Numbers from a single week, can be highly misleading to the overall trends of the market, it's the chaos effect.

Would you take the numbers from a week when the PS3 beat the Wii in America and say, "The Wii was a fad." It might not seem the same to you on the surface, but if you think about it a little, its very much the same principal, I think you'd agree.

A man has to think his opinion is his own. He can't have it handed to him and told its the correct one. Everyone should come around to such obvious conclusions, but by the nature of man, many will hold out, and choose the opinion they feel best serves their interest, fact or fiction. There are faults in your argument, that you can't deny, and calling others out, over the vast proclimation of the general stockpiling concensus, isn't going to win you any friends, respect, fame, glory, or personal satisfaction over the long run. I feel it might be best in the end, to simply say nothing at all until the unfolding of this month has become clear, and then make your oberservations concerning all that has taken place.

 Agreed.

I would never say the Wii is a fad or anything of the sort because to me, honestly it does not matter, I own all 3 so if something great comes out I have the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of this generation.

Although I have realized some people take my words wrong, maybe it would be smarter to take a little look over all what I wrote before posting to decrease the amount of confusion within them. :)

I guess it isn't easy trying to get some stuff in while grinding in Blue Dragon to gain a few important shadow skills.
