Sort of sad I missed this introduction thread when it was first posted, welcome to the Site fellow Storm named person :) Your Avatar pic of you looks rather similar to Will Wheaton from Star Trek TnG I have to say. Really cool tho that you've become a part of the community here after a bit of lurking and reading the various back and forths between both members and factions on here which go on daily.
Feel for you reading through your OP but it sounds like you haven't let all the pain of real life get too down on you, escaping to both video game realities and table top rpgs. Have you ever taken a look into the MMORPG universe? it can be quite a nice escape from reality when you take on the role of a Night Elf fighting against the Horde legions to stop ancient evils spreading across a beautiful land... I live in Warcraft frequently if you didn't pick up on that lol.
