Teh C3ll is the reason I think PS3 won't go below $199. No other device uses Teh C3ll and it's not a standard design. So it'll remain a relatively expensive chip to make.So I reckon PS3 will remain above $199 until it becomes an end of life product in the USA. Once PS3 is not longer being actively shipped to the USA then they'll drop the price to sell the last of the stock as quickly as possible.
I reckon 360 will go below $199 for the 250GB model soonish.
