"Given the release dates, we can perceive it was in times when Nintendo was about to start the console business. Any games from the 90s onwards produced by Nintendo and launched on the PC or other consoles? If so, then the OP is wrong and I must correct it. If not, then the OP is just fine since it doesn't say that Nintendo has never launched games on other systems, just that they have engaged into such a strategy (at some point)."
Moreover, the OP talks about the present and the past, not about future intentions of openess to maybe...

Re-read what you, yourself, have said. Also, Nintendo started the console business in the 80's. Also, future intentions matter in this case given that you also say that Nintendo's trying to "tell" us something. The fact that they have this considered means in itself that it's not true, and the fact they have done it in the past means that they have had this mindset before.
I wouldn't have mentioned this point in particular if you #1 didn't make a false statement about Nintendo not having released any of their games for PC (even if you didn't say the word "any," the context no doubt says it given the lack of parameters.) and #2 state Nintendo's intentions based off of your false interpretation of what you thought was the truth.

You fail to understand the underlined text.
Future intentions do matter but you also fail to understand that I was being sarcastic. I was trying to tell that those are far from being proven intentions. We still have to wait for some actions to really believe on those intentions.

Except the OP does say that Nintendo don't have games on PC (or other systems). It doesn't even matter if Nintendo wants an environment of "exclusiveness" with their games anyway, given that it makes perfect sense and competition does it all the same. The reason multiplatforms exist is because 3rd parties exist. They do so to get as much exposure with their software as possible while still profiting. If Nintendo were to do what you are saying, it would mean Nintendo would be going 3rd party.
Look at what you posted, though. You are saying that Nintendo is telling consumers that "no matter what, Nintendo games will EVER only be played on Nintendo consoles."
You should reread what you say yourself.
edit: You should be aware that you can't call it sarcasm and also say that it isn't a lie.
