Exactly. Sony done a hell of a lot to make sure it wasnt, because in the early days it was selling poorly. The success of the ps2 didn't garuntee them success last gen and they had to work even harder.
Also I never said Nintendo's systems don't benefit from brand loyality, I said all systems that have sold in high quantities reach those numbers through the merits of the system, not the brand loyalty. Only Selling 20m over 5-6 years isn't selling in high quantities, so clearly you agree with me.
