You cannot expect positive threads when there's nothing positive. If the next console gave us games with outstanding effects graphics and gameplay and it sell like no other console I'll be the first to celebrate. But now, you cannot ask anyone to be happy with the worst performance of a mainstream console ever to Nintendo. |
I don't see you posting positive information about the 3DS, or Nintendo's plans to gradually change much of their business strategy (though we still need to wait and see what happens). The Wii U's sales are pretty bad, but first-party software sales for both the Wii U and the 3DS are actually quite good considering how much people own those systems. Despite all the negative information surrounding Nintendo, first-party franchises have had decent legs despite moediocre openings. The biggest first-party releases continue to be recieved generally well by both media and fanbase alike. It doesn't mean that NIntendo is fine - far from it, in fact - but there still things to be happy about even in this rough spot for Nintendo.
And as far as we know, DK might leg out very well over the course of the year. It won't move very much hardware, but I think it can do decently as far as software sales are concerned, especially considering that it is a known franchise. After all, Super Mario 3D Flop didn't turn out too badly,
