240k WW FW isn't to bad imo, especially compared to Mario 3D World that a) Is part of a much bigger series and b) released in November.

I think its pretty respectable even when compared to DK on Wii which released Nov/Dec on a much bigger install base.

What is AWFUL though and cannot be ignored is the almost complete lack of HW boost. The re-release on 3DS made a bigger impact on HW as did the original on Wii. When you take into account how low the Wii U sales are a % bump should have been easier to obtain.

I expected a decent bump in hardware especially in America but like others have said there is already New Super Mario Bros U, New Super Luigi U, Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World, and Super Mario 3D World on Wii U, so it makes sense why a 6th platformer in a span of 15 minths didnt boost hardware.

It's funny how this only seemingly dawned on some Nintendo fans only in the weeks leading up to DKC's release, I remember saying it last year that their software balance was atrocious, but nooooo, we had to sit through hundreds of "just wait till Wii U gets Pikmin 3, Mario 3D World, Wonderful 101, DKC, Zelda! Holiday sales will be explosivvve!".

What does any of that have to do with what I said?

I'm justing saying I raised this arguement like 6-7 months ago and was attacked by some people for it. Just funny how that turned.
