Actually the 3DS's best week of launch which included both America, Europe, Australia, and the middle east, only put Nintendo at 66% of the market. Sony with just the launch in Japan took 67% of the market. Sony with just the PS4's launch in America took 69% of the market.
Also the 3DS's top sales during a launch week were just 621k.
