The Majority of KHs fanbase likes the lore, KH1 was definitely the most accessible because its the starting point of Sora's Arc.
Every following game is built off of that, the weakest games of the series are probably, Chi(pfft not even canon), Coded, 358/2, and KH 2.
I only include KH2 cause of its cinematic focus and ease of play. KH2FM kind of fixes that.
As for FFXV, It would be best if they designed this game to be standalone. If they focus on it as if they wouldn't get another chance like what they did with.
Designing whole engines is a money sink as well.
