I think you are wrong there. They are usually selling 1 million+ a month. Also if this wasn't true how are there a total of 22 million wiis sold in around 15 months.

I think those 22 million are mainly because of Launch and Holidays. Look at the last couple of months after December. Hell look at this month so far. The Wii hasnt even sold 200,000 this week. Multiply that by 4 and thats about 800,000 this month.

 that's cause of the stockpiling for the biggest game for Wii (and maybe all the consoles) of the entire year - SSBB

both Ninty and the retailers are holding the Wiis back for the massive launch
