Why does Nintendo keep trying to sell WiiUs with these fads that died off years ago. Nobody is going to buy a WiiU to play something that they got bored of 5 years ago.

Wii Party U sold very well on Japan

It's included in practically every bundle there since september, digital or retail (not unlike Wii Sports, actually). Besides; has it really helped hardware sales over there? Have you noticed that it is actually down a fair bit year-over-year despite this being the region where they have given the most purchasing incentives? Games like Wii Party U, Wii Fit U and Wii Sports Club won't do anything on a platform that largely lacks the primary target audience they aim for. Even (most) internet forum dwellers have understood this a long time ago, it is downright painful to see a gaming company with 30+ years of pedigree failing to make the same observation. They're floundering about with a concept that is several years too late and not even fully utilized by themselves (the Gamepad). They are quite simply completely lost right now. I feel I've written enough on that in other threads though so I'll leave it at that.
