It can get 2nd place easily with enough quality 1st party, but to get 1st, it will depend if they can gain at least a little bit of 3rd party, and keep the 1st party going longer and better than Sony, which I can see happening. Sony isn't exactly rolling in dough to invest, while Nintendo is. I mean I wouldn't bet on it, but it's not an absurd notion. |
Sony has already invested in 1st party studios, sure they aren't as acclaimed as Nintendo. But since 3rd parties dominated the market last gen, PS3's 1st parties set it apart.
