If a facebook movie can make money then a console war movie has a chance to make some coin, plus these kinds of movies cost jack.

But more than a billion people have an fb account so there was a larger audience that movie appealed to. A Sega vs  Nintendo movie just doesn't sound interesting. But you're right, it will be cheap to make.
