It's not like watching a pro player on Gran Turismo/Wipeout/F Zero, or a competitive fighting game where you're in awe how good these players are. |
There are "pro players" on Mario Kart as well. That's why there are ghosts and record times.
OT: Yeahhhh, this is pretty old. In some of the recent trailers you can see Lakitu holding a MK TV camera during the race. Which is a pretty cool touch.
