Polygon:Resolution or frame rate? Consoles need to join PCs and give players a choice

Developers are no godlike creatures who always make the right choice shifting the focus between resolution, fps and effects. Sometimes the focus on one of these three is not even in the hands of the developers but predetermined by PR.
