What freaking consumer standards? Also you should maybe think about your standards abit, here are the numbers for the same week for all consoles we've tracked here:

Wii: 216,776 ($250)

3DS: 194,084 ($170)

PS4: 124,314 ($400 and with stock clearly being withheld for the japanese launch)

360: 80,606

DS: 65,608

PS3: 53,197

PSP: 49,540

X1: 48,032

WiiU: 38,362

PSV: 16,704 (Japan only)

And you seriously believe that the PS4 isn't selling well?

And what were the first numbers for january NPD for the WII ?

The fact that it's having an appreciable in the beginning of february doesn't bode well.

Do you really not get this? The PS4 doesn't need to do Wii numbers right now, to do well lifetime or to even outsell it. Also, seriously how can you just act as if those 2 consoles are comparable in their first january, aside from being supply constrained (which the PS4 was more so)? How can you so conveniently ignore the feaking $150 price difference? How can you ignore that the Wii had at this point in its life already a 3D Zelda game and Wii Play and Wii Sports while the PS4s library is often viewed as very mediocre right?

Think of it like this: What would the PS4 sell right now, if it was $250 and already had Uncharted and Gran Turismo?
