Shenmue's Story was pretty good that why I think most fans wanted a 3rd game. The level of interactivity made it feel alot less than GTA in China which is what sleeping dogs feels like. Can't just walk around beating people up, you have to get a job or gamble, and even learn how to fight, something I haven't seen in any other open world since.
Shenmue 1 + 2 where like old 80's action kung fu movies. Definetly one of my favorite games on the OG Xbox.
Especially the Boss fight.
