I remember when we had Bunkum here and he gave us data about the monthly sales for say the Top 20 of each plattform .And the PSP sales were way higher than now with 1/3 the userbase .But when the page started to use its own data the numbers plummeted to the bottom .Except in Japan were we have too good data thanks to Media Create and Famitsu and the machine cant just be painted as not selling a single game I think the machine is vastly undertracked in its software . For example ,the PSP has in my country the Top 1 this week with PES2008 and has had some games as Smackdown in the Top Ten some weeks . IN the stores its clear the product is moving although maybe not as fast as Sony would want ,but its nearly impossible to find some popular games as Metal Gear PO ,Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness ,Valkyrie Profile ,Crush etc .That means the shipped units are finally sold so not that bad . Platinum titles and reduced prices units move at a quite good pace and arent ever tracked here .In the UK data we had that the PSP was a 5% of the full price market but a 15% of the budget price market for example . |
Yeah , why dont we get the top 20 softwares anymore ? That would be cool ...
