Every day there's a new daily chart of pre-orders.  Every Sunday there's a new weekly chart of sales for the past week.

Normally in the daily chart 1 point = 1k FW sales (give or take) whereas in the weekly chart it's 1 point - 0.5k FW sales (give or take).

Zero said he was basing his PS4 predictions off the weekly sales, but I think there was some kind of misunderstanding because we don't have any weekly sales for PS4 yet; only pre-orders.

So those are actual sales, ok. I guess I always ignored those posts because they aren't nice and colorful like the pre-order charts. :D
