You misunderstand Dane, you claimed that Sony was not confident like Microsoft by not bundling Kinect.
I just showed you why Sony can't afford to ignore the warnings like Microsoft can. If they can't afford to fail, then they will watch their competitors and learn from their mistakes. Sony can't make any more of those mistakes.
So what if they caved in? Gamer's have the money and control the market, not the manufacturers. If they don't want to fail then they better only care about what the gamers want whether it be pixels or gameplay. If Gamers demand pink consoles that burn jet fuel, Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony should ask how pink?
