They've proved they could do it with the "Wii" series, but the hugest hits on smartphones, like the Angry Birds games, Flappy Bird, Temple Run, etc., all appeal to casual audiences. It's easier to create hits on consoles because they can do almost any genre they want. You have Shooters, Fighters, Platformers, Action games, Adventure games, Racing games, Casual games, Open-World games, etc. being 10 million+ sellers. Shorter Version It makes no sense. |
The 3DS is outselling the PS4 almost every week. If the 3DS has reach its peak, then the PS4 & ONE & Wii U are *starts speaking in Bender's voice* DDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM
Anyways, I look forward to all the cool new stuff coming on the 3DS throught 2014 & 2K15 & 2K16. But I guess I'm the only one looking forward to Bravely Second & Pokémon 7th Gen & Code of Princess 2 & Rodea the Sky Soldier & Mutant Mudds 2 & King of Pirates 1 and 2 and 3 & Kid Icarus New & Bayonetta 2.5 & Youkai Watch & Paper Mario New & so way much more.
