I see 3 factors in this post and the topic in general.

1. people overestimating ps4's west sales.

2. people overestimating ps4's japan launch.

3. people underestimating wii u's numbers with the donkey kong launch.

Its doubtfull that DK: TF will sell more systems than 3D World, especially since delays tend to kill hype. Especially when people bought a Wii U expecting the game in 2013.

PS4 Launch predictions are due to preorders and Sony's position in Japan, the PS4 sold 1mil in 24 in USA and Canada, despite being a smaller region all Japan has to do is moderately low sales to Match/Overtake Wii U. Japan probably wont sell 1 mil day one, but it doesn't need to.

Furthermore, Nintendo is releasing DK:TF on PS4 release date, which if 3D World's UK release is any example, it will only harm the software sales and consequently the hardware sales of the WIi U.

you basically described almost all my 3 points.
