Uncharted? Probably. Gran Turismo? Maybe. God of War? No way in hell. As you said, it doesn't have the broad appeal that is needed to be nº 1. |
Actually, check the top 10 skus from the March 2013 edition.
| Title | Platform | Publisher | Points | Votes |
| The Last of Us | PS3 | Sony | 96 | 28 |
| Pokemon X/Y | 3DS | Nintendo | 70 | 18 |
| God of War: Ascension | PS3 | Sony | 45 | 14 |
| Killzone Mercenary | Vita | Sony | 43 | 11 |
| Grand Theft Auto 5 | PS3 | Take-Two | 39 | 13 |
| Tearaway | Vita | Sony | 37 | 11 |
| Pikmin 3 | Wii U | Nintendo | 34 | 12 |
| Soul Sacrifice | Vita | Sony | 34 | 11 |
| X | Wii U | Nintendo | 31 | 12 |
| Bioshock Infinite | PS3 | Take-Two | 28 | 9 |
The only two skusahead of GOW: Ascension were the top 2 exclusives of 2013 for this feature.
God of War may not be Uncharted, but considering how Ascension was largely rejected yet still managed to make #3 for March 2013 (albeit narrowly), I'd say God of War 4 is entirely possible of topping the chart. ESPECIALLY since the Sony fanbase on this site is likely to get bigger this next year as the PS4 conquers.
...in other news, I am both happy that X is doing much better than a year ago and disheartened by it being the only game of these ten not to be released yet.
