I will have you know that prisoners in the Nordic countries actually are less likely to commit more crimes after spending time in prison compared to, say, prisoners in he US.

 

Harsh punishment =/= less likely to remain a criminal

You really think this person at all, will be reformed? I think he gave up right to a second chance when he attacked a bunch of people on the most peaceful of days.
