When talking about mainline entries on home consoles DKC3 is the only installment to sell under 5 million. There is also good reason for that, it released when PS1/Saturn were 2 years old in Japan, 1 year old in America and N64 released a few months earlier, in other words next gen was in full swing. Also Donkey and Diddy arent playable, instead u play as Dixie and Kiddy.
Basically its the equivelant of New Super Mario Bros Wii 2 releasing on Wii this year with Peach and Toad as the only playable characters.
