I agree 100% besides MK8 there are no more casual BIG titles. So I think Wii U sales will be like this week till Nov. Black Friday sales. This site says 48k this week, 42k before that, 47k, 58k, 121k. You can easily see Wii U sales dropped almost 3x from the holiday period+SM3DW release, but they're back to normal for the Wii U. FY/EI Wii U did 36k Feb 2 2103. well that's 25% more for this week compared to last year. 33k before that, 37k, 48k, 123k.
So it seems Wii U is sellin 10k-12k better per each week of Januarary so far compared to last years. If that holds up year round that's basically 50k more sales each month than last year. Articles say Wii U sold 3.61 million last year. 50k extra times 10 more months till BF/Holiday shopping that's only a half a million extra Wii U sales. 4.25million this year and possibly a temp spike for MK8 so why not 5 million.
They should sell 10 million consoles if they can keep their pace, but that could very well change with PS4/XB1 on the market unlike last year. Especially next gen titles are coming like ISS and TF. IMHO there are to many variables to forecast Wii U correctly imho. But the more titles that get canned/pushed back/delayed on Wii U can only = less chance of Nintendo hitting their mark. If they want more sales they have to get more games out steadily, fix their VC with more games, port DS games etc., just do more in every area. That CPU, memory, tablet controller and GPU they went with...god help them.
