To see your exact times, open up Activity Log, go into software, then hit Rankings.

Is activity log an icon on the homescreen or one of the buttons at the top?

Homescreen icon.  It is the one that that has the light green bar graph image.

Thanks! I don't spend a lot of time on the main screen because I usually just close the 3DS in-game and I dislike the block design.
