Surely it brings some, but a majority just wanna play games online.

Definitely. If they just out of nowhere said "sorry bros, you gotta pay now" when their precedent for the previous 2 gens was free online, people would boycott. I know I wouldn't have PS+ right now if multiplayer wasn't behind a paywall, but getting free games tempers whatever upset feelings I had about it. I got PS+ a little over 2 weeks ago and I've already got DmC, BioShock Infinite, Shadow of the Colossus HD, Metro: Last Light, Resogun, and Outlast. And apparently Payday 2 is about to come to the IGC as well. Can't really bitch about $50 (cheaper than XBL, btw) when I've gotten all that in the first 2 weeks.
