Wii u's successor will have its own completely new zelda game in 2017/18. Nintendo said that they were trying to cut the developement time for LOZ games to 3 years. This means zelda u in 2014/15 and zelda fusion 2017/18. Like i said i hope nintendo is already brainstorming ideas for the loz game that comes after zelda u. You may think i'm thinking too far ahead but they have been (rumour) working on zelda u since 2010 so if they want to stick to the 3 year dev cycle then they have to begin planning it somewhen this year.
