I was being sarcastic.  As if it were a difficult question.  

Or perhaps, if a stranger were to come into a suspicious old western (American) town, and started asking quesitons.  One might say, you ask some mighty tough questions.  

Questions that can't be answered, or questions that could be answered, but don't want to be answered because of the answer's implications.
