Netflix makes tons of money and I see no reason why psNow wouldn't.

Netflix and Redbox survive because the studios allow them to.  They make more money via On Demand services through TV services or physical copies than they do rentals.  Nothing prevents studios pulling their content, as some have done from Netflix, and forcing consumers to use an alternate means of access.

And, despite that, netflix is still growing.
