Also as much as i believe ps4 will sell more than 3ds in 2014 (and every year after that), its not 100% guaranteed. Anything can happen as time has proved many of us wrong in the past.


I agree with your second paragraph, but your first paragraph makes little sense.

You ask "How do we know it peaked?" and then basically explain how we know because 2013 had the biggest 3DS games and the best library plus another remodel and was down YoY.  Barring some unexpected Kinect-esque second wind, that's pretty indicative that the console has peaked.


I should of added i believe it peaked too but at the same time its not set in stone. all 3 years had been very close in sales being 13.4mil-14.6mil each year (forgot exact numbers) and the best year (2013) barely beat the year before (2012). The difference between the two are huge though on the SW side. If nintendo does another DS lite type of thing anything goes! That said i still dont think 3DS will do another 12mil+ year (im guessing about 11mil this year)
