It's already clear that the difference won't be anywhere near that large in the US, AND current PS4 sales alone cannot sustain all the games in development. Third parties will be compelled to bring everything to Xbox One anyway.

I really really really disagree with that. PS4 will have a fair share of 3rd party exclusives. If you're into Japanese games, it'll have a boat load of 3rd party exclusives. The XBONE unlike the Wii U should keep relatively good 3rd party support, but that doesn't mean there won't be games that skip it. Heck already PS4 is getting some 3rd party games that aren't on XBONE. Injustice skipped XBONE probably because of KI instead of console sales, but it's still an example of a pub not being compelled to bring everything to XBONE anyway.
