i dont know. many have done this and the result has been 2 hampered products because of dead lines and budget restrains...that often have underperformed

look at Sonic Lost world. it has sold 400k combined. it looks like it will be lucky to hit a MIL

Nintendo has no issues with delaying a product until it's fully cooked.  I don't see how this would be a problem for them.

In actuality they are doing this right now with Smash Brothers.  My suggestion has them doing it with their lower selling games.
