The fact that the Gamepad as a concept and controller has yet to be even fully justified after 14-15 months on the market is a pretty sure sign that Nintendo have been kind of lazy though. I don't understand how they could ever expect 3rd parties to bother putting the Gamepad to full use when they're not even making a proper effort themselves.

Unfortunately, I also believe that the concept is highly flawed, for drawing in mass market consumers anyway. In fact; I believe that the Gamepad is the Wii U's biggest problem by far and that they should have continued to evolve the Wii-mote concept instead. They established a 100 million + userbase that adopted the Wii-mote and then basically tossed the thing (having it as an optional extra doesn't count towards much), this was a huge mistake in my opinion.

Agreed. The Wii really helped draw in the entire family.  The Wii U is very much a solo player console because of the pad.

It works pretty well in Wii Sports Club, an the motion+ is heavily used there. There's still time to make it work, it's not a failed concept imho.

They priced the games out of the market.  Made the club into a joke.  We got the games for free with the Wii.  Now they want 10$ a pop? They should have thrown the club in for free for anyone who bought a launch year Wii U.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
