Yeah sorry that first part wasn't directed at you, it was for the some other people in here.
I didn't do a good job of explaining it in my last post, but I think that these things are relative. Compared with Uncharted a mobile game takes a fraction of the money to make, but only stay relevant for a fraction of the time. So yes I think that you are right that mobile games become popular and then disappear faster, but the initial investment is lower so it evens out. For a big compay like Nintendo I agree that it would be dumb to go all mobile. With that said, I don't see the harm in releasing free companion games that advertise the main game (Like what Sony did with Ratchet and Clank)
I think the main thing I disagree with is your assertion that mobile gaming isn't a good idea for *anyone*.
