In march 2014 the 3ds will have been on the market for 3 full years with 42 million units sold right now.
If a new unit will be released in 2016 (which imo would feel rather late), the 3ds will only have 2014 and 2015 left in the spotlight
lets be generous and assume it will sell another 15 million units in 2014 and 2015.
depending on the launch period in 2016 it's going to be very very tricky.
