If you already have a console to play third party, than there is no excuse for not having one.
You will have acess to nintendo franchises in HD, all of Wii library and the best local multiplayers. The game pad is awesome, remote play is really handy and being able to use inventory/map without pause allow you to keep the immersion (ZombiU freaked me out with this).
