I dont see the problem with that line of thought.
Titanfall will have been in development now for what, 3 Years? 2-3 Years ago things were a lot different than they are today and Xbox certainly had the upper hand in the Western/Shooter market.
That said, I still think a big bag of money will have been involved to keep it away from PS4 since preorder numbers started rolling in for Gen 8 HW.
