If Nintendo has a Nintendo Direct in January which I now see as doubtfull we will not hear about any new Wii U games.  The ND in December gave us details about all of the Wii U 2014 lineup except maybe 2 games they will publish this year.

A Nintendo Direct in February will focus on Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and a release date for Mario Kart 8.  March-April will be pretty dead release wise.

As I said in another post:

Something went side ways at Nintendo back in 2011

Nintendo only published 7 home console games that year and really only produced 6 of those games.

In 2012 Nintendo published 11 games for home consoles but only created 6 in house.

In 2013 Nintendo published 12 console games but only created 7 in house.

Nintendo can not carry an entire console with so little output from it's developers. The Wii U was already dead back in 2011. Nintendo didn't put the effort into beefing up it's internal workforce when it needed to.

I think you mean the Wii but it wasn't/isn't completely dead. Unless you mean direct support from Nintendo, then pretty much.

No I meant the Wii U was a dead duck on arrival due to Nintendo not supporting the Wii at the end of it's life properly and the fact that they didn't beef up their studio's to get games out in 2012/2013 for the Wii U (which they needed to do in 2011)

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
